Black-browed Albatross

I saw only one Black-browed Albatross on the Kaikoura pelagic trip. They are smaller than the Wandering Albatross and about the same size as the White-capped. A woman on our boat, who really knew her seabirds, said that because of the dark eyebrow and the pink tip to the bill, Black-browed Albatrosses look to her as if they are wearing eye makeup and lipstick.
