Pacific Ocean Floor

A massive earthquake in Kaikoura in 2016 did an enormous amount of damage. The area in this photo used to be on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean before it was raised 4 or 5 meters. Many of the roads in the area had to be rebuilt after being destroyed by the quake.
