Wollemi Pine Male Cones
The Christchurch Botanical Gardens has a row of Wollemi Pines near the visitors' centre, This is an ancient species that was rediscovered in Australia in 1994. The location of the original tree has been kept secret, but Wollemi Pines are now available all over the place for relatively little money and even sold in some places as Christmas trees. The male cones are sausage shaped.
