Female Paradise Shelduck and Ducklings

The shelducks I saw were usually in pairs. Paradise Shelducks are faithful to their mates. Unlike many species in which the male is showier than the female, the female Paradise Shelduck appeared to be showier than the male, with her white head and chestnut body. Because birds can see in the UV spectrum, we don't know how ducks perceive the plumage of their mates.

Done
