A close-up of the bride's top half shows a profusion of items, including babies, birds, soldiers, snakes, airplanes, body parts, and all sorts of other things. I make a point of seeing her every time I visit Paris. Niki de Saint Phalle died in 2002, almost 20 years after her wonderful sculptures in the Stravinsky Fountain outside the Pompidou Center were dedicated.
