Louvre Pyramid
A glass pyramid is the entry point for visitors to the Louvre Museum in Paris. The pyramid was completed in 1989. It was designed by the architect I.M. Pei. It was very controversial when it opened, but it now seems to have been accepted into the family of Paris landmarks. Architects who were critical of some of the commissions Pei accepted began to call him "I AM PAID".
