Eurasian Blackbird
Eurasian Blackbirds are in the same genus as the American Robin and occupy a similar ecological niche. They are thrushes and not related to the blackbirds in the New World. They are fairly common at the Jardin des Plantes, and I saw a lot of them when I went to Italy.
