Lesson's Motmot
The Lesson's Motmot used to be called the Blue-crowned Motmot before the species was split by taxonomists. It is the favorite bird species of one of the guides I had at Rancho Natrualista, and she has an image of one on her business card. The black spot on the breast looks like an entryway to the bird's heart. The Lesson's Motmot also has a pair of long tail feathers with rackets, and it sometimes would wag them back and forth like the pendulum on a clock. The word motmot spelled backwards is tomtom.
