Yellow-bellied Flycatcher

The flycatchers in the genus Empidonax create some of the biggest ID challenges for birders where I live. They cannot always be identified to species, even when in the hand. The Yellow-bellied Flycatcher is bit easier to identify than some of the others. I have seen very few near where I live in Virginia, but they were one of the more common flycatcher species around Rancho Naturalista.
