Greylag Goose

Greylag Geese are thought to be the ancestor of most domestic geese. They look like White-fronted Geese. The Nobel laureate Konrad Lorenz wrote a book about Greylag Geese who imprinted on him and would follow him both on land and in the water. This one was at Tjörnin Lake in downtown Reykjavik.
