Yellow-billed Jacamar

Jacamars look like large hummingbirds. This Yellow-billed Jacamar on the Tiputini Trail on an island near the Napo Wildlife Center was sitting on a branch with its long bill pointed into the air, which is how jacamars usually sit. Jacamars can be difficult to find, because they tend to sit still and not move around much.
