Common Black-headed Gull

Common Black-headed Gulls are very common in Europe. One often sees them in downtown parks in major cities. They are similar to the Bonaparte's Gulls who pass through Virginia during some times of the year. This one was swimming in Tjörnin Lake in downtown Reykjavik.
