Cashew Tree

I saw various types of vegetation on the trip, including this Cashew Tree at Chan Chich. The Cashew Tree (Anacardium occidentale) is a tropical evergreen that produces the cashew nut and the cashew apple. The apple, which is the red part, eventually turns yellow when ripe.
