Adelie Penguin Tail

Adelies, Chinstraps, and Gentoos are in the genus Pygocelis, which means "rump tailed." All penguins have long stiff tails, which help them to balance when standing upright and to steer when swimming. This Adelie Penguin was on Paulet Island.
