Marabou Stork & Sacred Ibis

Marabou Storks have features that transcend the concept of simple ugliness. They are huge birds, which you can see by the difference in size with the Sacred Ibis, who is 32 inches long. This Marabou, who was along the Kazinga Channel, has an inflated pink gular pouch. The pouch is used in sexual displays during the breeding season. The ibis has a bald black head, while the Marabou has fine hairlike feathers on its head.
