Wattled Jacana Among Water Hyacinths

Wattled Jacanas were fairly common in Panama. They are black with a red facial shield, and their wings flash bright yellow when they fly. I saw one walking on a road, and I could see its long spindly toes. This one at the Discovery Center ponds was walking among Water Hyacinths.
