Iguana Pile
Marine Iguanas in the Galapagos often stay close together to retain heat. Because of the green-and-red coloration, they sometimes are called Christmas Iguanas. Our guide in the Galapagos made a good pun. I saw a male on top of a female iguana in a small space under a rock. I asked our guide if they were mating, and she said, "No, they are just warming up".
