Swallow-tailed Kites
One day as I was sitting down to a hot lunch at Wildsumacho, about 30 Swallow-tailed Kites flew in and were hawking insects very low. I ran outside and started snapping photos, and I managed to get this one of two kites, with a dorsal view next to a ventral view. One of the Wildsumacho owners said that it is not uncommon to see a smaller group of kites, but seeing so many was unusual.
