Kelp Goose

This female Kelp Goose was on a rocky shore in Ushuaia, Argentina. She has dark chocolate upperparts and black underparts with white barring. Her tail is white, and her bill is pink. Her feet are bright yellow, and I could see her black nails. Kelp Geese have one of the greatest plumage differences between the male and the female of any waterfowl species in the world.
