Southern Rockhopper Penguins

Many penguin species, such as these Southern Rockhopper Penguins on the Falkland Islands, form creches for raising their young. The parents leave their half-grown chicks together for safety while they are out huntng for food. Such groups are often guarded by one or two non-breeding neighbors.
