Rufous Hummingbird
Rufous Hummingbirds breed from the Pacific Northwest up to Alaska. These tiny birds are showing up with increasing frequency during the winter in the Eastern United States. This one was at Green Springs Gardens in Virginia. If you look closely, you can see its tongue sticking out of its bill.
