Red Knot and Ruddy Turnstones

This Red Knot is between Ruddy Turnstones in Little Creek, Delaware. Red Knot populations have dropped sharply because of the overharvesting of Horseshoe Crabs in Delaware. Turnstones get their name because they often turn stones over when looking for food.
