Tegu
At the South Beach Reserve in Buenos Aires, we saw a Tegu, who is a medium-sized lizard. It looks like a monitor lizard, but it is not closely related to them. From nose to tail, it appeared to be about two feet long. It was dark gray with dirty white spotting.
