Red-billed Tropicbird

As the name would indicate, tropicbirds are found mostly in the tropics. The Red-billed Tropicbird is the only one of the three tropicbird species found in the Galapagos. This one was perched on some rocks on South Plaza Island. They have extremely long tail streamers, and they do not have any close relatives in the bird world.
