Galapagos Sea Lions

A lot of sea lions were on the beach, including this pair on Hispaniola who looked like an amorous couple. With Galapagos Sea Lions, the alpha male changes every two weeks to two months. A sea lion's gestation period is similar to a human's, so the male at any given moment is often not guarding his own offspring.
