Booted Racket-tail

The Booted Racket-tail has beige boots and a long tail with rackets on the end. The female lacks the long tail feathers and is one of the smallest hummingbirds in Ecuador. This one was on the East slope of the Andes. The Booted Racket-tails on the West slope have white booties rather than beige.
