T-65 X-wing
Finally, here is my X-wing. This has been a work in progress since probably November of 2017. I can’t say I was working on it the whole time, there were a few times that is was “done”, but I was never really satisfied with it until now. I know a lot of people have said it but I’ll say it anyways, X-wings are not easy to replicate in Lego! All the angles are difficult enough, not to mention Lego’s horrible windscreen design. This made the angling around the cockpit probably the hardest part of the build. Of course a huge thanks has to go to Inthert, who inspired me to build an X-wing in the first place. Both his and Jerac’s designs influenced this build quite a bit. While I’m mostly happy with the way this turned out, I’ll probably make a recolored more accurate design sometime in the future. Next up: Y-wing!
