Apres Le Deluge

Another image from the wonderful location of Porthcawl Lighthouse on the South Wales coast. What fascinated me about this location went beyond the huge waves during the storm, so after the wave had engulfed the Lighthouse, I kept shooting, and got this image of the water returning to the sea as the spray subsides. It never fails to amaze me how the Lighthouse still stands after the years of battering it has taken. Post-production was done in Adobe Lightroom. Canon EOS 5D MkIII, Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS II USM - ISO200/f10/1/250sec.
