Eau Bleu - After the Rain

The Eau Bleu river after the tropical storm of December, that brought a greater flow to the river. This image was taken upstream of the third large waterfall (lowest), and was achieved by wading into the centre of the river to include the beautiful, moss covered, boulder as foreground to the scene. There are nearly endless compositions in this area, and despite the precarious climb down into the valley, I recommend any photographers visiting the location to take plenty of time to explore. A great way to spend New Year's Day! Canon 5D MkIII, Canon 24-70mm f2.8L II USM - ISO100/f11/0.4sec
