Clutch Power
This is my newest LEGO creation, Clutch Power.
Rays of color and energy burst out from a raised minifigure hand, celebrating boundless creativity and power through diversity. The build has around 6,250 pieces and uses every color of quarter-circle tile that exists (except for metallic).
“Clutch Power” is a further exploration of the stacked LEGO mosaic technique I developed in “Rainbow Heart” from 2021, attempting more natural color blending. The technique uses quarter-circle tiles placed on top of a second grayscale mosaic underlayer to increase the resolution of a 1x1 stud. This better represents organic shapes and allows for more detail in a smaller mosaic than would be needed to achieve the same effect using only 1x1 studs.
