Late afternoon

This picture was taken late afternoon at the shore of Lake Son Kul in central Kyrgyzstan. It is an alpine lake and lies at an altitude of 3016 m, and has an area of about 270 square km. It is remote but reasonably accessible (in summer|), certainly by 4x4 vehicles but some routes also without.
