WSOR obtained a batch of GP38-2's during late 2009 and early 2010 which were picked up through a purchase deal via JTPX, the units were built for NdeM and upon arriving on WSOR property still wore their desert beaten paint. After the units had been ran through the carrier's Horicon shops to receive mandatory repairs they were released for service and later painted upon entering a rotation, they most certainly were not the pride of the fleet as far as looks went still wearing their broken attire. Former NdeM 9272 stands at Horicon, Wisconsin on September 8, 2010 during an extensive shop visit.
