Pacification of Sesid

“Bureaucrats! The scoundrels send us to hell holes so they may reap the benefits of our sacrifice. At least, that’s what me and the boys had on our minds for the several rotations it took to speed across the Sesid system. The planet itself is tropical, beautiful and the least rebellious place they could think of to send our regiment. How is this downgrading or even ridiculing us? It’s simple. We may be safe now, but we have targets on our hinds by insurgents. They wish to demolish our garrison that protects the Empire’s valuable medical installations. In other words, we’re protecting the future lives of our politicians, by risking our own. Not that it’s any different for us clones. That’s how we’ve always been viewed as, expendable. Call it what you want, it just hits more close to home when it comes to protecting other people’s ability to prolong life, meanwhile we’re here with our limited time slaving away. Although we wasted no expense in reddening the galaxy of the traitorous Knights, it feels as if we left many politicians to be that deserve the same fate. Then again, we thought all the Knights were gone and now look at us, being sent to this beauty to snuff outta couple insurgents and possibly one Knight leading them. Got to get myself back in the game and do my duty, I suppose.” - Bandana Clone

I've wanted to do a Scarif build for the longest, but have always found that the idea just didn't sit right with me or it was already done in a similar manner by someone else. Instead, for this recent build, I did a twist where instead of on a tropical sandy planet filled with small islands, I'd swap out some aspects like the bright coloured swampy water instead of the blue and have the vegetation be more violent, chaotic and spread to all corners of the build. This mixed with some recent Vietnam films I watched cultivated into this start of my three part Sesid Files series.

See more of this build by watching this video.

There is also another video where I talk more about the creation over on Beyond The Brick.

If you like this build, consider tapping the like button ever so slightly and if you feeling like doing a bit extra, follow me here. Thanks!
