The Breach / Project Black Wing
At the time of breach, me and my men prepared our firepower to take on against this unknown foe. Our fresh stock of E-11s, T-21s and MPL-57s got the boys all excited to spring into action. Commander Lazvis had earlier ordered me to ready them in the event of a sudden attack. Good thing I stuck to protocol, otherwise we would’ve been gone sooner. Our orders were to report what hit us and eliminate the threat if necessary. Shortly before our departure, via my com-link we received contact by crew in the hull describing foul and mutated creatures attacking them. They were trapped in the lower hangar with ships that couldn’t get jumpstarted to escape. The next thing we heard were screams and cries. Few moments passed when suddenly a monstrous growl could be heard. The coms went silent. Next, one of my men, TK-1509 or Lanter as they called him, called out to the rest of us saying he hears something coming our way. We should’ve known this would get ugly.
