pen and watercolour....i was first introduced to this pattern as a "Celtic Aum"....its interesting how the word "three"....is very similar throughout the world.
The oldest and deepest language being Sanskrit,Three is represented as "tri"....and some will say there are very close ties between celtic and vedic cultures

The triple spiral or triskele is a Celtic and pre-Celtic symbol found on a number of Irish Megalithic and Neolithic sites, most notably inside the Newgrange passage tomb, on the entrance stone, and on some of the curbstones surrounding the mound.
