Hallimasch im Herbstwald
Die Förster sehen den Hallimasch nicht gerne im Wald, denn er besiedelt nicht nur Totholz um es zu zersetzen, nein, auch lebende aber geschwächte Bäume werden von dem Pilz befallen. Diese attraktive und noch frische Pilzgruppe entdeckte ich auf einem Baumstumpf. Der Waldhintergrund war mir ebenso wichtig wie das Hauptmotiv. Er nimmt etwa zwei Drittel der Bildfläche ein, so dass der Eindruck "Pilz im Wald" dadurch gefördert wird.
Übrigens ist der Hallimasch ein Heilpilz. Er wurde in früheren Zeiten bei Hämorrhoidalleiden eingesetzt.
Foresters don't like to see the honey fungus in the forest because it not only colonizes dead wood to decompose it, but also attacks living but weakened trees. I discovered this attractive and still-fresh group of mushrooms on a tree stump. The forest background was just as important to me as the main subject. It takes up about two-thirds of the image, reinforcing the "mushroom in the forest" impression.
Incidentally, the honey fungus is a medicinal mushroom. In earlier times, it was used to treat hemorrhoids.
