This is a very bold bird. He flies into the honeysuckle which climbs the wall of our house and is only 2 metres from the sun room door. There he has a particularly good view of the small birds at our bird bath, roofed table and on the branch perches I have placed around the table.
I waits his moment, and if he misses, he loiters on the ground, under the bird table, where perhaps little birds see less threat than from the sky.
