Posing on a Cypressus branch I cut and fixed onto the deer fence as a bird posing location. After the first season the foliage had dropped away so that the birds that visit here on their way to the feeders are not obscured by foliage.
Full 2000 mm available used, handheld, beamed flash to flatten any shadows. At locations like this - and there quite a few around the garden, I shall soon get down to flight images again using the expanded Procapture options, and try to get as comfortable with the settings as I was on the first of my EM1mk2 bodies in spring 2017. The big change is that high ISO is much better processed in the shadows in the OM1 (and EM1mk 3).
