Outstanding monument of white-stone architecture of Russia. Cathedral of the Vladimir Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church. Monument of Russian architecture of the XII century, which served as a model for a number of later cathedrals, including the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. One of the few temples in which authentic frescoes of Andrei Rublev are preserved.
