Het Trinkhall museum, de opvolger van het MADmusée, opende zijn deuren op 18 juni 2020. Het herbergt een collectie, uniek in de wereld, van kunstwerken die in de context van workshops zijn gemaakt door kunstenaars met een verstandelijke beperking, cognitieve beperking of grote psychosociale kwetsbaarheid. De Trinkhall-collectie, die nog steeds aan het groeien is, is rijk aan ruim drieduizend stukken (schilderijen, tekeningen, gravures en sculpturen), afkomstig van over de hele wereld (...)
Als het dus nodig zou zijn om het museumproject, de missie waarmee het – samen met de collectie – is geïnvesteerd, in enkele woorden samen te vatten, dan zou dat in deze termen zijn: verdediging en de intelligentie van de expressieve kracht van fragiele werelden die, vandaag de dag meer zijn dan ooit, lijken uiterst actueel.

Ainsi, s’il fallait, en quelques mots, résumer le projet muséal, la mission dont, avec la collection, il est investi, ce serait en ces termes : la défense et l’intelligence de la puissance expressive des mondes fragiles qui, aujourd’hui plus que jamais, paraissent d’une brûlante actualité.
