De Compressorenhal bevindt zich op de eerste verdieping van het indrukwekkende Energiegebouw.
In de grote persluchthal stonden de luchtcompressoren. Beneden in de mijn werden de machines met perslucht aangedreven om het ontploffingsgevaar via elektrische vonken te vermijden.

The air compressors were located in the large compressor hall. Down in the mine, the machines were powered by compressed air to avoid the risk of explosion via electric sparks.
