“Blockchain, big data and analytics are revolutionizing industries and deals”
Blockchain technology is revolutionizing the financial services landscape and creating opportunities for both
new and established players. From the very first steps and until very recently, this technology has been
applied only in the finance sector, assuming a great advance in favoring the disappearance of intermediaries
in financial transactions.
During FITUR 2017, the company Sismotur (dedicated to the service of intelligent tourist information) allowed
to know more about the application of this technology in the tourism sector through the Report “Technology
Blockchain and applications for tourism”. This study analyzes the characteristics of this technology and its
potential possibilities in the tourism sector. However this technology would allow technological advances to
reach and meet the high demand of customers who prefer to use the new technological trends.
Kotselapov Stanislav Anatolievich, Founder, CEO “HK Industrial Design”, Blockchain Futurolog, Hong Kong
“Technology and innovations can positively influence ecology and lead to green tourism growth”
Enabling the uptake of climate information and services in real decision-making processes and finding
resilient and efficient alternatives to our fossil-based economy are among the key challenges of our society.
The market is changing fast with green technology and innovations requiring additional financial resources.
Government and banks are not the only sources that can offer special products to stimulate startup and
entrepreneurship entitties. Today, global trends bring different solutions, notably: green money, blockchain
technologies and ICO. Therefore, how can travel companies, businesses and airlines use them?
Only a holistic approach that blends environmental sciences with geopolitical and economical aspects can
develop effective mitigation and adaptation strategies to climate change and other environmental challenges.
