Taken in a spiral staircase inside the battlement at Ft. Pulaski, outside Savannah, GA. I had set up to photograph the shadow cast by the opening to the staircase, above. Then it hit me what must happen if someone started down the stairs. So, I waited. This is the result. I once entered an arts fair, and this won first prize in photography, the only prize I've won.
