The Haskell County Courthouse is significant because it houses the county offices and is vital to local government. It is also architecturally significant because it is an example of a government building design which was influenced by Art Deco styles. It is one of the few Oklahoma courthouses built prior to 1935 which departs from Neo-Classical and Revivalist styles. (1)
