Does Cannabis Affect Hypertension

#Hypertension is something that can be negatively impacted by various items, and there are definitely some concerns with using this.

Does #cannabis help with lowering this? It can, but let’s take a deeper look.

Does Cannabis lower Blood Pressure?

Well, according to some studies, there was found that if you do intake it, it does cause a spike in the blood pressure. This is a temporary spike, and it does play a part in the red eyes that you see after #smoking.

In another study though, it was found that the #cardiovascular system may be affected in the long term.

The problem is that there are so few studies on cannabis and hypertension that it can actually be hard to tell.

The problem as well, is that smoking cannabis does open the doors to other types of smoking, such as #tobacco, and that does contribute to #hypertension and also heart disease too.

In an article that was done by #Harvard, it was found that among over 1000 people over the years, those who were at risk for hypertension, heart disease, and death was those who were using cannabis, but they didn’t account for other factors.

They decided a user was anyone who touched cannabis, whether or not it was a spliff ten years ago, or every single day.

In another study, it looked at cannabis and the blood pressure differences in humans along with animals, and it was found that while weed works to increase your blood pressure, it actually reduces it in animals. This is why it’s definitely reduced in another study in rats injected with this, and it means that the findings aren’t applicable to humans.

While there is evidence that shows it doesn’t treat it, isolating cannabis may work if it’s not done with smoking, but otherwise it doesn’t benefit you.

Can it Ever Lower?

That’s something we’re not clear on. But if you have hypertension, be mindful when using cannabis. Be cautious, and if the evidence points to anything, it shows that it makes the problem worse, rather than making it better.

The only solution where this does differ is where there are environmental factors that come with this, but this depends on the individual and the reaction they have to cannabis. Even if the cannabis does work instantly, it’s the symptoms that are there that’s being dealt with, and not the cause of this. If stress is chronically causing you to have high blood pressure, removing the stress would be better than removing the weed.

What about CBD

CBD DOES actually help to actually help with this.

While cannabis may increase this, that’s not the case in every instance.

In a study, it was found that it did have the capabilities to do so, but the thing is, it’s a large amount of CBD, and a very small study, and it was limited.

But guess what? It does open up the door for research in how this affects blood pressure. It can be good for helping with this.

But all in all, it’s important to understand that there are indeed better ways to handle blood pressure and hypertension in the world. Cannabis plays a larger role n that than expected.

There is research showing that cannabis and blood pressure is still not that good, but there are so many cannabinoids that maybe just maybe, once we get to look at this a little bit more, we’ll find exactly what types of compounds are possible, and whether or not this is a way to handle high blood pressure, e of if it’s bad.
