Relocated Gristmill, circa 1840s
In Defiance, Missouri, at the home of Daniel Boone, lies this old, relocated gristmill (animal-powered), complete with old fruitwood gears which still turn. If this photo and my (awful) shots of the interior are intriguing and you are ever in the area, stop in and visit! It's a bit expensive, but you won't regret it!
