This is by far one of the most interesting receptacles made and precedes the "T-Slot" Receptacle. This receptacle accepts parallel and tandem blade plugs. In the corner of the receptacle, the initials "J.I.P." are visible, denoting it's manufacturer: "John I. Paulding." Receptacles like this one are seen in catalogs dating as early as 1910. This particular receptacle was obtained from a Rowhouse in Reading, PA.
