The anchoring project of the third run of Artists in Storefronts was Jaime Carrera's "Outlet Performance Festival". Jaime featured 16 acts over the course of 8 Saturday nights in an alternative theatre space in the basement of Los Amigos at 28th and Blaisdell Ave.

The statement reads:
Outlet is a pop-up performance festival created & curated by multidisciplinary artist Jaime Carrera. It
will premiere this winter (from December 2012 to January 2013) in a huge underground space in the
Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis as part of highly successful Artists In Storefronts project.
Spanning over 8 Saturday nights, the festival will run the gamut of performance. From performance art
to modern dance to dance theater to live music. Outlet will feature a bevy of monumental & innovative
artists, from local legends to up & coming stars.
