For quite some time now I have been wanting to do this series with Ayumi. In fact the thing that convinced me to get her was the idea that she could be my Megumi from the Kenshin films. Miss Megumi has dark hair but the style and the fringe are the same. My Ayumi is also dressed in the Chinese, rather than Japanese style so the link is quite tenuous but it is what inspired me for this series.
Ayumi wears Kyori Urban Geisha Kimono, headdress made by me from different earrings and Barbie headband.
The 'Tatami' mats and bamboo blinds are placemats. Shelving is a modular wine rack and small vases found in Charity shops.
