Facebook- Layout

The layout of facebook (app via smartphone) is not very spacious, this is a problem towards some people with some disabilities. The text size on the app is too small in addition to this the pictures and video boxes are also decrased in size as well.

 

Facebook uses lots of square and rectangle boxes for there layout. This is good because it keeps the structure simple and clean for the pubic, But in the bottom row the layout has chanced into circles.

 

The good side to this is that all the options have been more simple to access instead of scroling towards the top or

bottom of the screen.

 

Facebook- Colour

Like the logo Facebook uses a blue and white to there interface, this is a small simple feature which everyone instantly knows.

Facebook like to brand there website by using the same two colours.

 

Facebook has also changed the colour background to a darkish grey when looking into settings or chatting for a friend. This is a good thing because it makes the pictures and the Sans Serif font stand out, making it easy for the public to see.

 

Facebook- Typeface Choice

Facebook has chosen Sans Serif as there font. The reason for this is because that it stands out from all the other text.

 

The Titles of the text is a lot more bigger and bolder than the body text this is so because it catches the public eye a lot more.
